Ball valves

Ball valves

Ball valves , also known as spherical valves, make it possible to control fluid flow direction and flow stoppage in piping networks.

Our ball plug valves can meet certification requirements for explosive environments (ATEX), drinking-water treatment networks (French ACS certification for drinking-water piping sanitary compliance) and fire protection networks (API 607) meaning that they can comply with the requirements of your different business sectors. These valves are mainly used in industrial settings where they can be used with different types of equipment to ensure the passage of fluids such as water, compressed air, hydrocarbons, steam vapour and inert gases.

Our range of spherical valves includes :

- Single-part ball valves which cannot be disassembled and have a reduced bore
- 2-part ball valves which can be partly disassembled
- 3-part ball valves which can be completely disassembled, making it easier to carry out maintenance on them
- Flanged ball valves : single-part, 2-part or 3- part flanged ball valves (wafer ball valves)
- High pressure ball valves

Béné Inox also proposes 3-way ball valves with an L- or T-shaped reduced bore in order to meet the specific requirements of your piping systems :

- 3-way valves - L-shaped bore valves can be used to direct fluid towards another piping system.
- 3-way valves - T-shaped bore valves make it possible to divert fluid flow in one or two different directions.

A number of our ball valve models come with an ISO mounting plate so that it is easier to install actuators or position detectors onto them.

These stainless steel valves can be connected via their :

- threads (BSP or NPT threading),
- flanges (EN1092-1 or ASME B16.5),
- or by welding (butt welding (BW) or socket welding (SW)).

Our stainless steel spherical valves guarantee optimal sealing thanks to their PTFE seats. They also offer enhanced resistance to high temperatures and aggressive chemical products. Depending on the valve model, a PTFE or a PTFE/FKM combination shaft packing is available.

Our valves are available in several pressure classes :

- PN16 to PN40 for flanged valves - these are ideal for use in piping and water and vapour networks.
- PN63 standard - which are perfect for general use in industrial and domestic installations.
- PN100 - for high pressure applications in the petrochemical and chemical industries.
- Up to PN500, high pressure valves - these can be used in the most critical applications.

Our experts are on hand to help you choose the stainless steel ball valve which is perfectly adapted to your requirements.
