Filters
Filters with sieves are components which make it possible to stop undesirable particles from entering into industrial installations containing liquids or gases.
Filters help to keep fluids clean and protect piping systems from clogging which can be caused by the build up of solid particles.
Our Y filters are made from 316 stainless steel and contain a sieve.
Sieves are designed to capture impurities and foreign bodies and are available with different filtering mesh sizes (ranging from 0.15mm to 1mm). This means that they can be adapted to the size of the impurities which you need to filter out from your system.
It is important to regularly remove a Y filter's bleed plug and cap to clean the filter and maintain its effectiveness.
Béné Inox's sieve filters can be adapted for use in a wide range of industries including the :
- Water and waste water sector where they are used to eliminate sediments, sand and other particles that can be suspended in water. This can improve water quality for irrigation and industrial processes.

Béné Inox proposes two types of stainless steel sieve filters :
- Flanged filters which are easy to install between two flanged pipes. These are ideal for use with a nominal pressure up to 16 bar.
- Female threaded filters which comply with the EN ISO 7-1 standard for direct connection onto male threading. This model is designed for operating pressures up to PN40.
The operating temperatures of our stainless steel sieve filters range from -20°C to +180°C.
